Day four
Decided to head of back to Tangalooma for an hours snorkel and the over to Scarbourough marina
Had quiet a good sail until the wind died and we took the second reef in our main out. woops we saw a big storm behind us
First came rain the a strong suderly wind hit us
oceans healeed and all the sails went down.
Heaviest sailing I ever done this far
Left 115 at 7.10 am and got to Tangalooma at 3pm. Way longer than planned. Arrived to Tangalooma in the rain and low tide.
Rain rain rain and more rain.
Lucky B did a great job last night with installing the sterio so we could listen to some Jack Johnsson
Living on a boat really isnt the best when its shit weather
All our clothes are wet and Oceans isnt happy about this boating life at all.
B cooked up the muddy we got from 115 and yum that was so yummy
Jumped in the dingy in the rain to head over to the resort, hoping to get a nice warm meal at the restaurant
Its started pissing down, absolutely soaked
Nothing was open expect a "cafe" that looked like a backpacker hand out. So dodgy!
The resort looked like an old hospital with 30 old matrasses thrown out outside the entrance
Nothing to eat expect a pizza with tin meat.
So beautiful from the water and they have just ruin it on land
Today it wasnt beautiful anyway, pissing down rain and its freezing
Pyteliten bostadsyta...MMaste lara mig att gora chillewippen
We are bobbing around everywhere. For some reason we where stupid enough to anchor here again. Its alwas swell here and it feels like we are on a ferry in the roughes seas.
Tangalooma is a shit place to anchor
We should of just gine straight to Scarbourough
Should of could of would of
Hopefully we can sleep throught the night
Bad news is that its going to rain for a few days
Think the best thing would be to get over to scarborough marina in the morning. Tie up and have a hot shower and go to a nice cafe take oceans for a walk and enjoy dry land for a day
and then head over to Mooloolaba
Cant belive the weather is so bad
Going to try to sleep

Day three
Day three
Woke up at 115...
Nice sleep strong winds but thankfully no rain
Russel island on the dingy to get fuel. All three of us and the jerry cans
No where to tie the dingy up so we had to drag it up on the beach and looking at the foks around us we decided to lock it up
The 500m walk to the servo was more than 500m and up on the hill. Lucky we took advantage of IGAs trolley
Atleast we got hold of a crab pot and redskinns
Back down to the dingy and when we got there the tide had gone dowm, not a little!
We had to lift the outboard of and carry the damn thing back in to the water; Cheeses Larry!
Well in the water we pushed the dingy up on to the boat ramp to load the jerry cans, what the heck!
A huge car ferry coming right for us, it was not a boat ramp it was a ramp for the cars to drive up on the ferry!
No fuel in the dingy so in with the paddles...
The ferry man was NOT happy with us and B was not happy with me taking so long to do the shopping
Reefueling om the water and of we go in the dingy with food and jerry cans
Smashing atleast 20knots wind in our face, wet wet wet everything was wet
Thats life on a boat a guess
Muddy for dinner. Yumm!
Never thought I would eat a crabb. They are delicious!
We love our new crabpot!
Oceans doesnt like 115. He sink half way down in mud everytime we take him to the loo. Its mud everywhere
So he had to have a salt water and shampoo showe on the deck in the dark and he didnt like me at all for doing that!
Another lovely day at 115
It got a bit boring in the strong winds so we decided to make one sailboat each and see wich one that would float the longest
B's sailed properly but sank
and mine didnt sail, it tipped on its side but it did float...
Wonder what the yacht behind us would think when them two came past in 30knots wind...whar idiots make top boats in a storm?
We do!

Day two
Left anchorage and off to Tangalooma
Went throught Rous Channel,scary.
Climbed up the mast to see the shallow spots...
We made it!
Anchored at Tangalooma
Went for a head snorkel on the inflatable at the Wrecks,
saw a shark, big tuna fish, corals and much more so beautiful but wayh to cold to jump in for a real snorkel
Walked up a steap sand dune, had dolphines playing with the dingy and al during beautiful sunset.
Tuna patties and mash for dinner.
Time for bed.
o well 30knots winds and massive swell.
Oceans where bobbing around everywhere, it was hurrific!
No sleep and in the morning we where heading back home to Gold Coast, over the sailing!!!
Stopped at anchor 115, kapten hooked a big taylor.
Yummy tailor for dinner and an amazing sleep
